Boat Moorage
Welcome to Kelowna’s Waterfront Park boat lock, “The Lagoon” located downtown in front of Discovery Bay Resort and Sunset Waterfront Resort.
The closest boat launch is between King Taps & Kelowna Yacht Club. Lagoon access is over to the right by the Float Planes.
Max boat length is 24 feet and the the lock can accommodate up to two sport boats at a time. Lake Okanagan is subject to the occasional windstorm and the lagoon moorings may provide added protection and security for the owners of boats staying in one of our suites.
The boat lock is open from mid spring (before May Long) until mid fall and is open daily from dusk till dawn with a phone-to-open system in place. The lock is NOT open on Canada Day due to foot traffic in the area from 5am July 1st until 5aM July 2nd.
Please be sure to secure a boat slip at the time of your reservation by phoning DKRA on 250-860-7368 to ensure availability.
Please note: Boat trailers do not usually fit in the assigned underground parking structures and parking spaces can only accommodate vehicles that are of a standard size 150 truck (max height 6’8″) so, you would have to park your vehicle with trailer attached on one of the nearby streets, or a local boat storage centre.
